Launch of Mobile Suicide Prevention Harbour

We have some incredible news to share! After two and a half years of saving, planning, and dreaming, our Mobile Suicide Prevention Harbour is finally on the road! 😊🚐

We couldn’t have done this without the support and generosity of the people of Wigan and Leigh. Every cake sale, sponsored walk, quiz night, and donation helped us get here. YOU made this happen!

We’re deeply grateful to our proud supporters, @lcscivilsltd who hugely donated, plus gave us loads of help with sourcing the van, and then funded the van wrap,(!) which was completed by the lovely, talented team at @envgraphicsandsignageltd ENV Graphics & Signage in Hindley. Thank you for bringing it to life!

And a massive thank you to @coalfieldsregen whose grant gave us a major boost, as well as grants from @gmsystemschangers and @welcomebreak Thank you! 😁

A special thank you goes to @unclejoes1898 who have kindly donated their world-famous mintballs for our Hope & Care packages on the van. Sometimes, it’s the small comforts and familiar tastes that make a difference on the hardest days, and we’re so grateful to be able to offer a little extra kindness thanks to them. 😊

This van is for our HOPE Circuits. It means we can reach the places in our boroughs where people are most at risk, where hope is needed most. We’re not stopping here. We’ll keep showing up, listening, supporting, and doing everything we can to help people choose hope, instead of despair.

If you want to be part of this movement, you can train to volunteer with us on the HOPE Circuits. Just email help@epichope.org.uk with HOPE Circuits in the subject box.

Together, we are saving lives. 🛟Thank you, Wigan and Leigh. Let’s keep choosing hope.
