We invite you to join our

EPiC Explorers 55+

Recognising the significant concern of isolation among the older generation, we have designed Epic Explorers 55+. These walks are specifically tailored for people aged 55 and above, as part of our initiative to reduce stress, improve overall mental well-being, and decrease rates of suicide among older adults. By encouraging social interaction and physical activity, EPiC Explorers 55+ aims to create a supportive community providing a sense of belonging and purpose for all who come along.

The Power of Walking for Mental Health

Walking is more than just a form of exercise. It’s a powerful remedy for the mind. Research has shown that walking can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. The rhythmic motion of walking helps to clear the mind, while the release of endorphins promotes a sense of well-being. Additionally, walking in nature has been found to enhance mood, improve cognitive function, and boost creativity.

Our EPiC HOPE Walks offer a holistic approach to mental health, combining physical activity with social interaction and the healing power of nature. By participating in these walks, individuals can build resilience, find peace, and develop a stronger sense of community. We invite you to join us on this journey towards better mental health and well-being, one step at a time.
