🚨 Suicide Prevention Starts with Awareness and Action 🚨
Today, Ellie visited the @wwlnhs Education Centre to deliver a talk in the lecture theatre.
Ellie shared part of her deeply personal story, speaking on the devastating impact of domestic violence and how it can tragically lead to suicide. Her message was clear.
Safeguarding saves lives.
By creating a network of safety and support, we can help people in their lowest moments before it’s too late.
She also emphasised the necessity of suicide prevention training, explaining how equipping professionals and community members with the right knowledge and tools can be life-changing.
And how we at EPiC HOPE are here to support NHS staff at our Harbours.
We also believe that every safeguarding professional we support is another guardian we empower to save lives.
We won’t stop in our mission for a suicide safer Wigan and Leigh.
