About EPiC HOPE CIC
EPiC HOPE is a suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention organisation serving Wigan and Leigh. Our mission is simple but vital, to prevent suicide, provide compassionate crisis support, and nurture hope in our communities.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported through life’s most difficult moments. Our work spans prevention, intervention, and postvention, offering support at every stage of someone’s journey:
We’re a small, values-led team with a big vision, to create communities where suicide is no longer an option and hope feels within reach for everyone.
At EPiC HOPE, we care deeply about authenticity, compassion, and connection. We’re passionate about people, driven by lived experience, and proud to do things differently.
Purpose of the Role
The Executive & Communications Assistant will work closely with the CEO to provide high-level administrative, creative, and organisational support. This role is at the heart of EPiC HOPE’s day-to-day operations, ensuring our communications are compassionate and professional, our systems are organised, and our CEO can focus on strategic leadership.
The ideal person will be highly organised, adaptable, and confident managing varied tasks, from diary management and inbox coordination to designing social media content and capturing stories of hope.
About You
You’re someone who thrives on variety, organisation, and making things happen. You can switch easily between professional communication and creative content creation, and you love being the person who keeps everything running smoothly. Most importantly, you care deeply about people, purpose, and creating hope.
