EPiC MEN

REAL CONNECTION. REAL CONVERSATION. REAL HOPE

EPiC MEN is a peer support group created by the men of EPiC HOPE, a multi-award-winning suicide prevention organisation. We provide a safe, relaxed space for men to come together, talk openly, and support each other through life’s challenges, whatever they might be.

Every Thursday, 7pm - 9pm

EPiC MEN is built around a six-question structure that is already making a real difference.

It gives our groups shape without making them feel formal. It helps conversations open up naturally, instead of leaving men wondering what they are supposed to say. A lot of lads have spent years brushing things off with “I’m alright” because there has never been a safe enough place, or a clear enough way, to say anything else.

That’s where the structure matters.

Our questions are simple on the surface, but they reach the parts of life that are usually tough to talk about. Pressure. Control. Loss. Anger. Shame. Relationships. Purpose. Hope. The things that can sit under everything else and affect how a man thinks, feels, reacts and copes.

From one group to four within 18 weeks, we saw a big, noticeable shift within the brave men who turned up. And now men are opening up sooner. And we’re opening more groups to meet the demand.

The conversations are going deeper. There’s a level of safety and honesty in the room that is changing lives. You can see the moment someone realises they are not the only one carrying something.

This is more than a chat group. It’s structured peer support, shaped by lived experience, and it’s helping men understand themselves, connect with others and start moving forward.

“The six questions are the first doorway into saying what’s needed saying for years.”
