EPiC Hope Harbours

What are EPiC HOPE Harbours?

Crisis Harbours
At the Crisis Harbours, our trained and compassionate Peer Supporters with lived experience are here to offer immediate support if you’re going through a mental health crisis, including feeling suicidal. We provide a safe alternative to A&E and can help connect you to other support once the immediate crisis has passed.

Community Harbours
At the Community Harbours, you can drop in for a couple of hours in a safe, welcoming space. You might be going through a bereavement, a breakup, feeling lonely, or just need a chat. Whatever you’re facing, you’re welcome to join us for a brew and some friendly support, even if you’re not in crisis.

THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE

EPiC HOPE Harbours are there for everyone. Whether you are struggling with mental health issues or suicidal thoughts, if you have been suicidal historically or recently, if you have lost someone through suicide or even if you just need to talk and share your feelings – that human connection.

With peer to peer support and friendly volunteers, our Harbours are a safe place and you will always be made very welcome.

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.

Exciting News for Teens:

A Safe Space Just for You!

We understand that being a young person can be incredibly tough, especially when you’re facing overwhelming feelings or thoughts you can’t always share. If you’re aged 11 to 19 and struggling with suicidal thoughts or emotional distress, your mental health is important to us. You matter, and you’re not alone.

That’s why we’re so glad to share that we’re creating a Youth Harbour in Wigan, specifically for young people aged 11 to 19 who need a safe, supportive place to talk about what they’re going through. We know it’s hard having to wait for referrals or feeling like your voice isn’t heard. We hear you, and we’re working hard to set up a space where you can feel understood and supported.

The Youth Harbour will offer a caring environment where you can share your experiences and connect with others who understand what you’re facing. We’re working behind the scenes to make sure everything is in place for you.

If you’re struggling right now and need someone to talk to, Papyrus HOPELINE247 is there 24/7 on 0800 068 41 41. They’re ready to listen and support you whenever you need it.

Remember, you matter. Your mental health matters. Please hold on. Support is coming soon.

Please can you add the attached Special Recognition Award to the moving carousel at the bottom of the site.

Please can you add the 2026 Multi Award Winners too that’s attached.

Could you head up an EPiC Hope Harbour
